We commenced full operations in July 2015, specializing in guarantee facilities, bid bonds, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, letters of credit, and other structured trade finance solutions such as project finance, import finance, and consultancy services.

Allan Ogendo

Co-Founder & CEO

Educated at the University of Nairobi, Allan brings over 16 years of experience in strategic management, operational, financial, and credit systems.

Before co-founding Mazel, Allan was the General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer of Investeq Capital Limited for a decade, where he played a significant role in building the brand and establishing it as a leading trade finance intermediary in Kenya, Uganda, and across Africa.

Allan is renowned for innovating unique trade finance structures and for contributing significantly to the development of key systems, risk management instruments, and procedures for various companies and SMEs.

Raphael Murangiri

Co-Founder, Marketing & Business Development

As Mazel’s Marketing & Business Development Director, Raphael boasts an extensive experience in sourcing and penetrating new markets, managing product and business cycles, and competitor analysis.

An alumnus of Kenyatta University, Raphael was previously the Marketing Manager at Investeq Capital Limited where he played a pivotal role in developing local business and the rollout of the branch network.

At Mazel, he leads his team in diversifying the company’s product offering and portfolio.

Cornelius Muli

Co-Founder & Marketing

With a career spanning over two decades in the finance sector, Cornelius plays a crucial role in the management and development of Mazel’s business.

Having previously worked with institutions like Absa Bank, Ngao Credit, Premier Credit, FSI Capital, and Investeq Capital, Cornelius brings a rich experience to Mazel. His key responsibilities include business development and product review.

Sharon Ashanda

Finance & Risk

Sharon, the Head of Finance & Risk at Mazel Investment Limited, is tasked with providing timely financial reports and information to support decision-making and operational needs.

A graduate of the University of Nairobi and United States International University (USIU), Sharon was previously the Chief Accountant & Head of Credit at Investeq Capital Limited.

With over 8 years of senior financial management experience, she ensures high standards of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, credit control, and implementation of internal controls are maintained.
